About Cathy
Hello, I’m Cathy.
LCSW · MSW, Indiana University · Licensed since 2014
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering individual, couples and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work at Indiana University and have been licensed since 2014. Along the way I’ve helped refugees resettle with Exodus Refugee Services, interned as a school social worker, and spent years at Family Service and Choices in Counseling, working with families in the DCS system and with adolescents and adults in the criminal justice system.
I specialize in helping clients with mood disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder, and in teaching relaxation and coping skills. Clients tell me I’m easy to talk to, warm and genuine.
Raising two children, more than 35 years of marriage and a cancer diagnosis have made me a more compassionate therapist. I know the ups and downs of family life, and the fear that comes with a life-threatening illness.
